Track Name: Weight of Water
Met by white horses
Then I would see her no more
I hear primal voices
Tell me to wait on the sea shore... Of this I'm sure

Boy and sea
White flags to hooves pounding
Treasure weighed our ship heavy
Ripped on the rocks boy
Man down
Rattling remnants
Cove's throat would roar...

Weight of water
Lies on your chest
Waves on the surface
Stolen your breath
How can I make warm
Your body again
My life it would not
Fill your lungs

Met by white horses
Carry your cloth ever more

Pray let me light
A last candle for love
This vigil
Still it feels undone
Tied to an anchor
Her memory
Dye unset began to run...
Track Name: A Toast to Letting Go
When I escape in animal skin
Where will I run to then?
Lights from the mountain glint between trees
Somewhere in the distance will I still hear them?

I propose a toast to letting go
To break the spell
Fine words which keep us bound
Sedentary
Sediment
Soulless sentiment
Shed your Winter coat

Warmest wishes buried in snow
Messenger lost his way
Rook
Raven
Carrion crow
Mist hangs low
My letter read
I'd found no haven
Coins I gave to a so called wise man
Lucky
Luck he said etched on my brow
You were too kind
Signal our surrender

Dams built
Gargantuan walls in my mind
Epic defences
Age old design
Each grain of fear
Each bolder choice
Bound my own dreams
Stifled....
Track Name: Kinsmen
Were you in two places?
Crawling on all fours.
Doors conceal the face of...
Crowd swarm.
They had us surrounded.
All the King's horses.
All your kinsmen.
Driven like cattle
into the fold

On your knees.
You know there must be more.
Stand up
Soldier.
Its time

I won't breathe a word.
Your secret is saved.
Free men they must choose
from paths already paved.
They had us impounded.
Long before we did arrive.
Follow the piper.
Don't be afraid
Track Name: Facing the North Star
We'd been out collecting wood.
So that night would not appear as cold.
Everything we thought was good.

Are you there?
We were not alone my love.
In flame they came across the stars,
And then the snow.

Our sleep reflected on the river.
Became dogs winking starlight.
Bark between the trees.
Love we felt as we were leaving.
Hunter's arms protect our breathing.
Track Name: John Bayley
There's a darkness inside me John Bayley.
Maybe you could see that too.
Guilt edged little secrets untold.
Magnificent.
I know you knew.
You spoke to yourself in the garden.
Told me the neighbours were here.
Judged by no earthly consequence,
Paralysed with fear.
Do you bear witness John Bayley?
Each mortal man a battleground.
Painting with nothing but whispers.
Carry my head well in a cage through the town.
Soul splayed open a murky parade.
I saw for myself all that I had made.
Maybe rainbow flowers shall spawn from my waste.
On the tines of a tongue.
In a time misplaced
